There are many aspects to a successful implementation approach but our Lean implementation methodology encompasses all the required elements in a 5 step approach.
The key first step is the project initiation, and the creation of the Project management plan. This brings together the framework of the project, details of the overall business objectives, and defines the elements required to deliver those objectives. The experienced consultants conduct a detailed review to provide a solution overview.
The next phase is to map the solution where a series of iterations of the business processes are tested using a lean approach.
Once the business flows have been modelled the establish solution phase commences where the team are trained in the detailed processes. This is then built upon by extending with more data and creating the data migrations. Pilots are then run with this data to prove the solution.
The Implement phase is the detailed cut-over and the end user training phases leading up to the final cut-over.
Go live is fully planned and support is provided at the appropriate level to ensure a successful cut-over.
Post go live reviews are then held and plans put in place for further phases to be implemented covering any improvements that need to be made. Cedar Bay have an on-going account management program to ensure our users are getting the most from their implementations of IFS and that the software and support processes are adequately supporting the business.
