Duties and responsibilities
To provide on and off-site training and consultancy on the IFS ERP solution in the areas of supply chain to the Cedar Bay UK customer base to enable the customers to initially implement the software solution and also extend their use of the software. As well as running training courses, the candidate will need to be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of business processes around supply chain for manufacturing and distribution companies and be able to advise our clients on the best approach to implementing the solution.
Skills, qualifications and experience needed
The candidate will be degree qualified and have at least 5 years experience working with the IFS Applications solution around the supply chain modules. This experience can be either as a customer, as a consultant or as a business analyst working on or delivering solutions in supply chain. In addition, the candidate must have the following skills:
– Be an excellent communicator and be able to present to all levels of the clients organisation.
– Be able to successfully map business process and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of standard working practises in the manufacturing and distribution arena.
– Be able to clearly write specification and functional documentation where required.
– Have a good understanding of software development processes and be experienced in testing software and processes in a methodical way.
The role is home based, but it is preferred if the candidate in within 1 hour of the UK office, based in Cheltenham, to enable good communication with the other team members. On average, a Consultant would spend 3 days per week on a customer site.
