One of the major challenges facing companies is ensuring that their suppliers deliver goods with accurate and readable bar code labels. When correct and repeatable labelling is received huge savings can be made in the receiving process.

As a result of this Cedar Bay have created a web based supplier labelling system, Vprint, which delivers to the supplier a self service application to create labels on any standard windows printer. Each supplier has his own login and can only see their outstanding orders. By selecting the order the supplier can enter how many labels they need for the shipment and they are printed ready for dispatch.

The labels include a 2d bar code, which allows the customer to receive the goods by a single scan, thus further streamlining the process.
