Cedar Bay launch IFS Automated Data Collection (ADC) Development Framework

After the announcement of the standard suite of transactions for IFS, and in response to requirements from the customer base, Cedar Bay have packaged their ADC development frameworkfor IFS. This enables IFS customers to rapidly develop their own suite of transactions where they may have custom requirements beyond the scope of the Cedar Bay standards.

The framework packages the web based server functionality and the development framework for creating mobile transactions. The server element provides the IFS connection suite, menu structures, user definitions and label generation routines. Included as part of the package are source code for a standard enquiry screen and standard update transaction which are used as examples for the training.

Cedar Bay includes initial training on the step by step development process to create the streamlined IFS transactions. Customers will also have access to the other Cedar Bay services to help them deploy a solution such as process consultancy alongside hardware and infrastructure deployment services.
